Ministry
There are many exiting and fulfilling ways to use your God-given talents and skills. Opportunities for investment and enrichment include:
Worship Ministry
Sunday service is a time of lively praise and thanksgiving to God. Our music leader, Larry Raspberry, leads the congregation in singing. Pastor James always strives to deliver thought-provoking, life-changing messages. We celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) the first Sunday of every month
Children's Ministry
Childcare (ages birth to four) is provided during the services.
Fellowship / Hospitality
Every Sunday after church, we get together for coffee and bagels (and the occasional baked good) downstairs in the fellowship hall. In addition, we meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 to enjoy a weekly meal, prepared by one of our members. It's a great chance to enjoy a home-cooked meal, followed by a short time of prayer.
Missions and Community Outreach
Our church actively supports local and international missions through prayer, volunteering, and financial assistance. One such example is the groundbreaking missions project - Feeding Those Who Feed Us - which helps migrant farm workers (and their families) in the state of California. In addition, each Thanksgiving we feed and give away care packages to the homeless and needy. Also, the church leads various community outreach projects such as our annual neighborhood Christmas Caroling event.
Discipleship / Education
The church offers both traditional Sunday School (both adult and youth) and small group opportunities. Past study series include the Alpha Course, the Purpose Driven Life, 40 Days of Purpose, A Study of Ecclesiastes, and others.
